Is "answers.com" a reliable source? |
Or is it like wikipedia? I am doing a research paper and I want to make sure that my teacher will apporve. I cannot ask him/her because it is for summer reading. Thank you! Its a reliable source if you want ppl's opinions. I would never use it as a reference though for a research paper. I could say anything right now, so no, it is not a reliable source. yes answers actually references wiki on its site Answers.com pulls in information from a variety of information sites, such as wikipedia, but it also pulls in results from search engines such as Google, and summarizes it all up in one page, and even gives you links to more additional content, so as a research tool, it is very useful, but don't reference answers.com directly, rather, try to find the article Answers.com itself references, and use that one Any information you find on the internet should be taken like a grain of salt. I wouldn't chance it for research. id say it is more reliable than wikkipedia, but not completely reliable. hmm...google is better |
