How do you edit Wikipedia?

I need to add some information about my company but can't work out how to do this.

An answer outlining exactly how to do this would be very much appreciated, thank you!

There is an "edit this article" tab which is found at the very top of the page. You will be taken to a text box where the article is written ready for you to edit.

Individual sections also have their own [edit] button, which you can click to edit that one alone.

To insert an external link, which is a clickable link to another site, type the URL (the address of the website) in between brackets right in the article like so:
[www.example.com]

After finishing typing select the "save page" button.

There is a link "edit this page" at the top of the page. You can edit the article and you dont need to be logged in, but you IP adress is displayed. To hide it you have to sign in.

I'm not too familiar with editing on Wikipedia but I believe that you have to have an account with them in order to edit information.

You can click the [edit] links on the right side of paragraphs or sections that have them. The Wiki formatting syntax is different from HTML and may take some trial and error to learn to use effectively, but there are also online tutorials if you have the patience to study them.

You don't need to have an account, because they will use your IP address if necessary to try to identify you (anonymously, of cource). However, there may be certain pages or sections that they guard more jealously than others.
