How much do you use Wikipedia?

How much do you use Wikipedia? Do you:
Read it?
Edit it? (if so do you have an account?)
Don't use it at all?

If you had a choice on Wikipedia articles between seeing the most current version of an article or the last version marked as "stable" (free from vandalism and determined to be presentable), which would you rather see by default?

I read it if there is something in particular I'm interested in... and then I get sidetracked and read random articles that look interesting. :)

I edit it if there are clear grammatical mistakes or other things, like if someone adds a bunch of crap to an article, I take it out if it's wrong or completely irrelevant. I have an account.

By default I would prefer the most current version, because sometimes things happen quickly and need updated, so I might want to look at it before it can be approved as "stable." (Especially since most of the articles I look at are related to current events...)

I only use Wikipedia for research.

I use it when I need to find out about something.

I created an account, but never log in.

If any question comes in mind wikipedia is the first choice for me

I will prefere stable

Wikipedia is retarded. Anybody can post anything. It's like reading the writing a gas station bathroom wall.

when i need to know anything

I read it as a starter to research, but I never rely on it.

The stable version, because someone once edited a page of a famous lynching victim and wrote slander and racist comments all over it. It was disgusting.

I usually search and read. Not 100% of the sources are reliable but most of them are.
The whole idea of wikipadia is sharing your articles with the world, everyone have the same right to contribute and edit. So those that marks as un-stable requires or might seek your contributions.
If anyone 'd like to see 100% reliable sources, wikipedia is not he place to be :) you might want to try some other commercial encyclopedia.
However wikipedia is free and usable most of the time.

I never use wikipedia.

I use it all the time when i want to learn about somthing. I do not edit it enless i notice an error or feel it would be benifical to the community to add more information to an article.

Sirzman,
I use wikipedia when I am on the computer
quite often for research.
It doesn't matter if I am using wikipedia
when I am looking up information
researching.
I use it often when I am in here for example
or if I am trying to prepare a blog.

Its rubbish, i dont use it

Read it? Only properly when I have an assignment.
Edit it? Surprisingly more often, for a few hours each day.

I use wikipedia for research, but I also make sure to cite every posible aspect. trying to cheat on papers through using wikipedia won't get you anywhere, teachers always get ya.

1. Far too much.
2. Yes.
3. Yes.
4. I'm also Alx_xlA on WP.

5. I would rather see the most recent version.

I use wikipedia often.

i use it all the time but i don't have a account

i used Wikipedia and answers for my homework

Read it: Nearly every day.

Edit it: About once in a while (maybe every few months). Yes, I have an account. It's very simple to make an account. All you need is a username and password, no other info.

I'd rather see the first by default.

Wikipedia is the best website that I used for research & for completing my homework I use it more than 40 times a week & it certainly rocks I like it very much & suggest others also to use it daily & contribute articles, links, images, etc. I had also suggested my friends to use it for finding articles & images also. My most of answers also includes link of wikipedia articles images.

Everyday. There is always a weird reason.A new celebrity or something.I am always the first to post something.Like about the lindsay lohan crash.

I use uncyclopedia instead. It's more reliable.

I use it to find informations.

I read it for interest, but I would never use it for legitimate research - it's too unreliable.

Whenever I need info regarding any topic, I go to Wiki.Helps me a lot.I choose current version.
