just want to put my picture onto a CD and make my own pictures in CD form instead of photo's

Writing/Burning/Pasting data or files onto a CD is a very simple thing. All you need is a CD Writing software (like Nero), some stuff to write onto a CD and a blank CD itself.
> Insert your CD inside the CD ROM
> Open up Nero (or any other CD Burning software) and click on the command to Write data onto a CD.
> Then a window will open up, where you can to browse through your computer and select files to write onto the CD.
> After this click on the Next button and then Burn.
> After the progress bar (horizontal cylindrical figure) gets completed the CD is ready with the files you selected to write onto it. The same procedure can be followed with pictures, songs, videos, etc.

If you have any Q regarding CD burning softwares or anything be sure to post them. (You can search at www.google.com for 'CD burning softwares' if you don't have Nero)

Glad that I was of help to you. :) ThanQ for selecting my answer. Report It

well. if you just want to burn 1 picture to a cd... that is pretty pointless. a pic can't be more than 1mb

and your cd is like 700mb

but if you still want to do it here's how:

using nero, create a data cd. just add the files you want to add and burn

if you want it to be a photoslide then pick the photoslide vcd option (i think)
and burn

Well, one picture is quite easy.

Open up Nero Burning Rom,
Select "Data CD" (without the quotes)
Locate your Picture,
And then drag them in!
Same process for more than one Picture.
Hit Burn when ready.

If you want to keep it easy, just go to Staples and buy a Memorex kit that will let you create designs on a sticky piece of paper, print it, then stick it on the CD. It's what I use!

If you mean to make a picture appear on the surface of a CD like commercial discs have:

Some drives have a picture-burning feature called LightScribe, it usually will say this on the front of the drive if it has it. You need special discs too, they are expensive. I believe two or more colours are possible nowadays.

You could get an inkjet cd sticker kit but really they can cause more trouble than they're worth, the glue could cause the CD to warp or spin unevenly, eventually making it useless. It can be very tricky to get the sticker lined up properly too, a fraction off-centre and you will have a CD that spins unevenly and may not play properly.

There are also some inkjet printers that can print directly onto one side of a CD (again, you need a printable CD, but they are cheap). Not all inkjet printers can do this, however, and you should not attempt it unless you know for sure that it's a feature of your printer.
