Had Blue Screen of Death? come up again?

Hi, I had encountered the dreadful blue screen of death a couple a weeks ago and I have a question. I tried to fix it through the windows scans. I scanned it for viruses then I cleaned it up and tuned it up, then installed all the things that needed to be updated. I did everything I can fix it. I haven't had the blue screen of death since then but how can I be sure it won't come up again. Please and Thank You for the answer.

give your computer company (ie. dell, hp) a call and tell them what happened.
i had the blue screen of death on my father's computer and i called dell up and they told me to put in some CDs that came with the computer to scan for any glitches or problems within the computer and hard drive.
turned out that it was just an update that didn't install properly!

Can't really answer your question, but I had the blue screen of death on saturday morning. It said to restart the computer and if it comes up again to follow these steps. So, i restarted my computer and nothing came up. Left it at the Compaq screen and then eventually said No Operating System found...and that was it, my laptop is dead. So now I am stuck with my pos desktop that is old. Just a warning, if you have anything on your computer you don't want to lose, back up your stuff. The week before this happened i was fortunate enough to have backed up my pictures and important documents. Good luck to you and hope your computer doesn't die like mine did :(
