Will it mess it up?

Will downloading songs from limewire to my phone,mess it up in any way?Or can i find a place where it wont give me any virus's or anything else that'll harm my computer,to get a MP3 to WMP format?

A P2P source is ALWAYS questionable (not even touching the legal aspects). If you insist on using P2P programs, then you need a good anti-virus program. As long as the file doesn't have a virus, your phone won't have any problems.

Your best bet on safety and legality is to use programs like Rhapsody or iTunes. Yes, they cost money ($0.99 a song from iTunes, with a discount usually if you buy the whole album at once), but you are both supporting the artists, and you have a guarantee that the songs are virus free.

There are a few ways to go but as long as you have anti-virus set on your PC it wont mater. If your scared that your phone will be infected then download software to your phone to stop that from happening but it will slow your phones boot up time. Its easy to use and costs nothing.
