ITunes is sharing my music, please help!?

I opened up iTunes one day and it installed an update. Then all of a sudden this new thing called Shared music comes up on the right side menu of iTunes!

It says a persons name underneath it, which I'm sure is one of my neighbors names down the street from me.

I can now access his whole music library when I click on it, which means he can access my music too, right?! I don't want that! I don't want to access his and I don't want him to be able to access mine either!

How do I stop this? I tried clicking disconnect but it doesn't work and his name and music library is still there and I can still view it which means he can still view mine! Please help!

If you can see his/hers, you must be on the same network.
Unless you have set it up, it does not come as default so you don't need to worry about him/her seeing your library.

You can double check this by looking in Preferences and Sharing.

If you don't want to see his library, just untick "Look for Shared Librarys"

I have this same problem too sometimes,it says a name that I don't even know under the device lists or whatever.the only other one that I know that comes up is my brother's ipod,but we're on the same router.I can see this persons library too.I think it's annoying but it goes away sometimes but then it's there sometimes too.I wish I could help,but that's my experience.you might not be able to do anything about it,sorry.
