If I have windows XP sp1 can I download service pack 2 from microsoft website? Or should I pay the hundred more bucks and get XP home sp2? You can go to the microsoft website and download all of the critical updates which includes sp2. Then set your updates to automatic and you will always be updated :) You probably have XP home right now. Just download the SP2. the download is free plus you can order a free cd of it also If your copy of windows in a legal registered copy then yes you can get it from windows update... |
