How to make your computer run like new?

Ok this is not a question i just wanted to let everyone know about this.


If you want to make your computer run like new all you have to so is:

Click on start run type temp delet all the filels in there
Click on start run type %temp% delet all the filels in there
Click on start run type prefetch delet all the filels in there

This will not hurt the computer unless you do it on anthying lower then Windows XP!
Windows XP and VISTA ONLY!

All this does is removes the temp filels that your computer has collected when installing updates programs IM ect...

Let me know what you think about this Bese answer will be given!

PS:i would not recomend doign this when installing windows updates.

I took a look at ccclean and i was not to inprest with it.. I did some reserch on it and found out it only removes the temp filels NOT the preetch or %temp%
The best i can figer out is that microsoft does not a alow programs to do this because it can cause updates to glitch (thats why i said not to do it dearing updates)

People running 2000 will be fine. doing these steps.

PS: this does not restore your computer back to factory defalt.. The nice thing about this that its just as effectave way to speed up your computer with out having to reformat your HD...
and it is free . nothign to download..

I dont know how many peoples computers i have done this on and they cant beleave how fast it was..

They were also runing ccclean up. They removed it after werds..

Ps: the other reason ccleanup is not as efectave is because its a program. and that program uses the 3 filel folders.
I know i told you otherwise up there but i was doing some rserch on it as i was typing this out.

Excellent! I have 3 spyware programs on my computer...One is called CCleaner which not only deletes all temporary files, but also deletes things on your clipboard, and anything else that has been stored in your computer...

it will help.. but it will not make your computer run like new.. this does not :
A. stop useless programs from starting up in the background and using system resources..
B.help with File Fragmentation.
C.Can,, but not neccessarily help with Virus/spyware/adware.
D.cleanse the registry of null values
E.etc.. etc..


but it is a good place to start..

a easy defrag and disk cleanup will do the trick

no need for that

plus it's always good just to re-format it
