What media players support rar files? |
What media players support rar files? Well .rar files are not media files... so it will not be opened by any media player... Rar files are zipped files. Winzip doesn't open them as far as I remember. Try downloading WinRar. None (OK, not entirely true, but see below). rar files are compressed files, not media files. so i guess no media player supports these rar files. RAR files are archive files, like zipped files, not zipped files themselves. .zip is a proprietary format. You're quite correct about WinRAR and there are several other free versions from places like download.com. RAR files are essentially boxes. As in real life you have to open these boxes and take out whats inside (on computer extract to a folder) to use it. |
