Macro to run in every program? |
This is probably a stupidquestion, but I don't know very much about computers, so here goes: How do I get a macro (I have ML/I) to run in every program on my computer? Is it possible to "make?" this macro and have it do its function in Word and Internet Explorer? Like, say, I made it "Replace A with B" so that every time A was typed, it was replaced with B in internet searches and Word documents? Does any of this even make sense? I am so sorry that I have such a limited understanding of this subject, but if you could point me in the right direction, that'd be WONDERFUL! It's not possible. Macros only work in software that implements the exact same macro system, with an exposed COM object. In simple terms, this means visual basic macros will pretty much only work with Microsoft Office programs. |
