What computer utility can solve file fragmentation? |
I need the answer quick! Start > My Computer > Right click C: Drive > Properties > If it's windows yes, if it's mac or linux you don't need it. If you have a Windows PC with vista then you don't need cause it auto-defragments itself....if you have xp or any other older windows then use Ashampoo Magical Defrag 2. A defragmenter has to be run to put the fragments back together contiguously. This helps to prevent lags, slowdowns and in the long run ensures smoother drive performance and life. |
