Windows Vista incompatible with everything? |
SO, I bought the SIms 2 Castaway. Windows Vista = Fail. Epic Failure. Just does. Im a die hard Windows fan, but i hate Vista... downgrade to Windows XP, its not going anywhere like a outdated Playstation, due to the suckyness of Vista. I think that most of the people who say that Vista is incompatible with everything are wrong. Okay, VISTA, has a lot of bugs in it, through time the upgrades will fix it, but... that time is not now. go to the sims castaway web site and they should offer a patch (link) so it will be compatable on vista. i have been told that the only problem with VISTA is that most PC don't have enough memory to run it correctly. Now I don't know if that is the case with your problem but over all the lack of enough memory is the problem. I have not added anything to my new Vista and the green box is always solid with no more than a blink of grid. This severity happened after a bunch of recent Windows downloads. Toshiba can't help, just use the easy out of saying it is probably a virus. I know nothing about computers, but can barely use one window. If a virus, it is from YA or that Google toolbar I can't eliminate. I don't go anywhere else. |
