Handbrake wont work!?

i have a macbook, and i needed a dvd converter, and i was directed by several people that handbrake was the way to go (i just wana put dvds on my PSP!) but when i downloaded it, and tried to click the "sourse" button to load my dvd into the program, nothing happend, the program wont let me do...anything! what do i do? this is supposedly the best program ever for its purpas and i cant get it to work!!!

i have re-downloaded it several times...

please help...

Try loading your DVD first, then start handbrake. then to select source - just browse to the DVD and select it ( don't select either of the two files that show up)

then click Start Handbrake will then read all the chapters on the DVD

Also click Turbo first pass and 2 pass encoding and choose h.264 as the codec

When I open Handbrake and then insert a DVD, I click Source and a pop-up window displays the DVD I just inserted.

I select the DVD and click Open.

What Mac Operating system are you using, and what version of Handbrake? That might be the problem.

I am on OSX 5.1 and Handbrake 9.2.
