Trouble with printing a document from WordPad?

I was sent a file created by WordPad - when I open it, the text is all crazy and out of place, and it prints that way as well, even after it looks like I made all corrections on the file. I've tried opening it through other programs, but to no avail. When I try to open file in Adobe Reader, I get the message that the file might have been miscoded (or something) in email transit. Please help! Is it my computer, or could my issue be a result from the person who sent me the file? Thanks in advance for your help.

Adobe Acrobat Reader was right, the content was miscoded. The cause might be of the text misinterpret during saving, the issue of ASCII and ANSI (Unicode).

Yes, normally it's the issue from the person who sent you the file and it can only be pointed if native character are used. For instance, Japanese Kanji, Chinese and other than Western unicode. Wordpad unable to interpret because the character is missing.

You can't do much, but should your attached file is still around, download again and open with Microsoft Word. See if any difference or the text is still intact.
