How to install vista (with out copy ) just original?

i just bought a vista for 600$ if i instal vista is my computer gonna be broken ?
this is like my first time intalling another os to my computer so i need help please
!!!!!

Go to Microsoft's website and get your PC scanned. See if its vista compatible or not. If not, return the pack and get $600 back, otherwise install it.

How do you know your PC will run it?
