PDF file question?

i got a cd from my school, and it has our whole U.S. History book on it as a PDF. how can i make a copy of this so if something happens to the cd?

and no i wouldn't use the cd to sell it or anything, i just dont want anything to happen to the cd, and have a backup, because it would be a big hassle to carry that book around in my backpack all the time, its pretty big

open the pdf file on your computer and then save it to the desktop ... you can remove it from there and copy it on a usb or disk

a pdf file is just another file extension like txt or docx. You can copy it like any normal file and view it like a normal one, however only certain programs can edit them. I think adobe uses it.

get nero or something and just make a data cd with the other disc as your source

Your question isn't clear

You can copy the PDF file like any other file to your computer

or you can print it and keep it in a safe place

u should be able to just rip the files and save them to your computer and then just give back the schools cd and you have it stored on your computer
or iif u cant rip it probly cant because its a text book and is secured then downnload a program that bypasses the security and rips to your computer the burn a new copy for your self then the schools at fault if the cd gets ruined because u gave it back

After you open the file on your computer there should be a "Save a Copy" option under "File".

Another option is to download PrimoPdf which is a pdf converter that is used like a printer. When you have a file open, click on "Print" and select PrimoPdf, then it will ask you for a file name and where to save it. I suggest saving to a download folder or desktop so you can find it.
