everytime when im on safari and go to click on something it highlights and options comeup. how do i get rid of that it is extremely annoying

You are probably right clicking. If you are left clicking, then go to system preferences, mouse and keyboard, mouse, and make sure it says primary button next to the left side of the mouse, and secondary button next to the right side of the mouse.
