How do I create a shortcut on my desktop to a webpage? |
My children that are 5 and 4 love to play online games such as cartoon network, nickjr, and sesame street. I need to know how to create a shortcut on my desktop so that they can click on it and it will take them straight to the page....I get so tired of having to stop what I am doing to come type it in. Thanks for the help! Simple. Right-click on a blank space on the desktop and select New>Shortcut. You will be asked to enter the URL or web address of the site. You can do this manually, or you can find it in your History, and copy it from the URL/Address bar. If you have it copied, right-click and select paste. Then it will ask you for the title of the shortcut--you can say "Cartoon Network" or whatever. Then click OK and you should be good to go. Download Mozilla Firefox and Go to the Site you want to. Then Make firefox smaller by restoring it down or draging the sides untill you can see your desktop. When you can see your desktop look at the little picture on the left of the URL drag it onto your desktop and done. Now just click on it and your on the page. all you half to do is, left click on the web page that you want to save, and click on the create shortcut and then the link will be saved to your desktop. Go to the web page you want the short cut to be. Left click and hold on the icon in the address bar , drag it over to your desk top and let go. There is the short cut to the web site. Good Luck if you using internet explorer(IE) then go to |

Yes, as long as you have removed the installation from your old computer (a dead motherboard qualifies that) then you can use that same copy on a new system. ...Go to My Computer then go to your dvd playing drive and click auto play then deselect the autoplay function and click take no action or just click on the one you want to play with and hit ok. ...hey this...i use it all the time... it works perfectly... download the trial version... ... just try again, for me it usually happends when im downloading music or videos which takes a huge amount of the bandwith but then after i stop downloading stuff it fixes and it works perfectly ...Try this Link If im right:... You need to convert your music to .wav or .mp3 and then you may edit directly in Audacity. Audacity is an wave editing tool, but it does not fully support for direct editing from any cd sources. ... start > settings > taskbar & start menu > autohide the taskbar ...stupid freaking key board is a very bad bag GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRr ... |
