How can you save Microsoft 2007 document under 2000 or 2003?

we have this project done and i have microsoft 2007 i can open it from 2000 or 2003 to 2007 but when i open 2007 to 2000 or 2003 it won't tell me what should i do

when i clicked on 97-03 it will only save the text

Right. Hopefully this works.

File > Save As..

When the box comes up in which you select the location and name the file. Click on the bit where you get to name the file.

Now, underneath should be a drop down box with a wierd extension like .wps or something I cannot tell seeings as I'm not at your machine, it may say Microsoft Word 2007 *.wps or something like that.. Simply click the drop down box and select Microsoft 2000/2003 depending on what options you have. Let me know how it goes lol ^-^

click on save as and save in the format compatible with another word version

you need to use the "save as" function instead of just hitting save. save as will open a window that will allow you to select the type of file to save as. it's at the bottom of the window.

Goto save as in the file menu and underneath the filename box there should be an extensions box. Select the apropriate file extension.

if youre trying to access the document on another computer, you can email it to yourself and it will work on a computer with '00 or '03. My boyfriend has '07 and i have '03, he is able to access his documents all the time on my machine.

go to save as and then on the side bar that pops up click the save as 07-03 compatible or something like that it is fairly understandable if you know what your looking for. it does say something with 2007 and 2003 in the title of it.

click on save as then make it word 97-2003 document

I'm not sure I quite follow the question, but it sounds like you're having a problem opening '07 stuff in '00/'03. If that's the case, then you can do 2 things.
1. Use 2007, opt to 'save as' 97-xx version
2. There is a driver/patch you can download so that '00 and '03 can open '07 files (.docx). Once they're open, you then need to save them as '03 or '00 files (.doc).
