Fsx addons in vista?

i try using my addons (aircrafts) wid my fsx which is installed in a vista home premium machine. when i copy anything to the "aircraft.cfg" file, and the try saving it, it wouldnt save, and gives the following message

"cannot create the C:\program files\microsoft games\microsoft flight simulator X\simobjects\airplanes\b747_400\aircraft... file.

make sure that the path and the file name are correct."

thats wat it says. what can i do about this? i just want to somehow save what i copied to the "cfg file." tanks a lot

I had the same problem until I found this link, which tells you a good way to copy the textures into the aircraft file. The info is at the bottom of the page.
