Please Help! Im using Windows Vista (Activation exploits have been detected on your computer)? |
i bought my brand new computer last monday with windows vista ultimate OEM, and when i update, it said that the activation exploits........... what will i do???? pls help!!! screenshot: contact microsoft about it to make sure you didn't get scammed on your OS. If you did you will have to buy a new Key for it, but knowing how many problems there are with vista its probably vista just being vista go to start, all programs, acessories, system tools and then actiate windows, although this is the way for windows xp this should be close to the right path for vista also Where did you buy your computer from? You can contact the seller and request a refund or a legal copy of Windows. go to start>right click computer >activate vista You probably installed an evil program that requires "trojan" updates. Your firewall probably detected a bad update. If things are set like this, if you installed some program recently, try to access program uninstaller in the control pannel. to recognize the bad program, select up on the left "View" then "Order" and "By date" so you'll look at all the programs you installed recently, and decide witch one could be the bad program. If this dosen't work, try scanning th system with your antivirus. PS: In my opinion, AVG is the best. This happened to me once. BYE BYE |
