What is the best free registry cleaner? Or would a paid for version be best?? |
For ages i have relied upon "Windows Onecare's" free clean and restor tool and have run with the why pay when you can get it free. But i see that "Uniblue Registry Booster 2" is highly recommended - what do you guy's and doll's reckon????? Hi, CCleaners.com Tune Up Registry Editor CC Cleaner's good. You wouldn't want a "best registry cleaner". Some registry cleaners can cause problems to a pc cause it deletes too excessively, as long as you clear once in a while.. its good enough. i use register repair thats free Track Eraser Pro. try eusing its free and picks up a lot more than ccleaner it also has a restore so if you get a problem you can undo it I would suggest TuneUp Utilities 2k8 or Registry Cleaner -- TuneUp would probably do better as it has a bunch of tools with it, with Styler 2 being my favorite. I have used CCleaner for a while and it is very good. Its other options are also very useful. I would definately stick to a well known paid registry repair software. I have used RegCure with great success in the past. I tried using the free cleaners, but really all they did was determine the problem. I had to use RegCure to completely clean the registry errors. |
