Can i copy a column from an excel sheet and paste it as a row?

i have entered certain details in column and now the data size has increased. how do i copy the column and paste it as a row? is it possible or is there any alternative.

One cannot just copy the column and convert to row directly as the range would not fit and one will receive an error message.
One must first select the range in the column you want to copy, say B1:B10. It will be highlighted. Right click on the range and click copy.
Select any cell on the row you want to paste, say A2, and right clikc the cell. in the dropdown, select pastespecial and then tick the Transpose box and click ok.

Then, right click on desired column, select "paste special" and check the "transpose" box, and paste. Done.
