Text reading software? |
I remember there was a special kind of text reading software that allowed you to read the letters of the image, for instance i have a jpeg image of a simple newspaper and this software could recognize the letters of the screen and convert them into text. So instead of reading and rewriting i could easily convert it into text in second. Please help me with the name of this program, i used to remember it but now i forgot it and i need it bad! Also if you know any other program that could do this trick then can you please tell me how it's called? What you are talking about is OCR, or Optical Character Recognition, software. You can buy fully featured OCR software from many vendors. Or, if you want, try the freeware OCR software from http://www.simpleocr.com/. |
