VirtualBox won't show my Service Pack 2 installation file...? |
So, I am using Windows XP Home edition, I installed VirtualBox and made a Windows XP Pro VirtualPC...This version of XP Pro needs SP2 installed, and I have that on a CD but when I put the CD in, the Virtual PC will pick up ever other installation file I have on the CD but SP2, I have taken all the precautions, showing the hidden files and everything, but I still don't seen what I need...any ideas? I can't even get my USB drive to even show up on the Virtual PC.... Help please? how do I set up a network and share files on the same PC? I have set up networks between two or more PCs, but never like this If your 'host' can read all the files, try copying the contents of cd to the folder you use to share files with your "guest" os, the one one are trying to install sp2 on, and run from there. |
