How to create border around picture with dreamweaver/photoshop?

Hi Guys,

I am very familiar with the Windows environment and not very familiar with Dreamweaver or photoshop!

I am trying to create a simple border around one of my pictures but I cannot find the option in photoshop.

As for dreamweaver, I found the option but I would like to know how to change the color of this border.

Could someone help me?

If you want to do this in Photoshop it is very simple, it's Layer effects. Open your image, double click on the layer in the layer palette (not on the thumbnail). It should bring up the dialog box. On the list on the left you will see Stroke. Double click on that. Make sure you select "inside" from the three options, you can change the size and the color of the stroke. It will add a simple border evenly around the edge of the picture. When you are happy with it, click ok.
