Question about uTorrent...?

I recently got a new computer with Windows Vista and decided to try uTorrent to download music and movies. The problem I'm having is that when the file is done downloading, it is only opening up as a sound file. Is this due to Vista or uTorrent? Is there a setting I can change to fix this? Thanks for your help in advance!

Ok, I've got VLC Media Player and my files are playing. But, how do I burn them to a DVD? I tried burning it to a blank DVD and it says "can't play" when I put it in the DVD Player. Did it burn wrong? Help me!

What media player are you using to open the files... Windows Media is really bad in combination with uTorrent, I have discovered. Try VLC media player, which is fantastic and free and very easy to use. Once you switch to it, you never go back for video purposes. Just google it and it should pop right up. Good luck!

Edit: I don't know what to tell you about the DVD thing, except perhaps to find a copy of Nero- which is what I use to burn things. You can also try making disc-image files with Magic Iso and seeing if that will work- though I've had terrible luck with ISO in the past, my friends have had successes.

if you want to change the player for either music or movies just right clic the file and select the open with option then your presented with a list of programs to open it with if the one you require is not there then browse to the program you require and select it.
