How do I get headers to change in MS Word? |
So, I'm writing a paper using MLA format. You know how you have to put "Jones 1" in the upper right hand corner? How do I get Word to automatically change the number when I start a new page? View--Header--Insert page number (if you want it to be sequential) or Format Page Number (if you want it to start a new numbering) If you're using Word XP (2002) or an adjacent version, do this. (Word Vista (2007) no doubt has a similar facility). |
