Windows Moviemaker won't import my movie?

Help! I need to get this project done by tomorrow! I'm trying to import a movie on CD that I recorded on a videocamera that used tape, if that makes a difference. However, it won't import to moviemaker! Any suggestions?

You have to ensure that the file you import is in a valid format. The Microsft webpage below outlines which formats are acceptable:

Use your USB port if you have the cable,

It may depend on what format the movie on the CD is in. Windows Movie Maker won't import certain file types, specifically MP4/3GP, FLV and MOV ,MIDI, AIFF, AAC, SWF and M4V. Check the file extension on the movie on your CD to find out if it's one of these types.

i think you mean dvd not cd get a danuisoft dvd ripper or any converter that will convert your dvd file to WMV windows media video and it will work
