How do you take an image from a pdf to a slide in powerpoint?

So I get some wonderful business presentaion images
on a zip drive (and 1 by email) and I need to make powerpoint slides of these images-they are in pdfs !

This an add on to an exsisting power point show I have here on my hardrive..I know how to add pics and make slides !

how do I convert and turn into a ppt slide from the pdf?

I can take a jpg from my desktop and make a slide
but from pdf to ppt?????

Since Acrobat Professional is very expensive (but has that image extraction add-in) I suggest to use the Snapshot tool that's included in the free Adobe Reader. To do so:
- open the pdf you want to extract images from
- in Adobe Reader's menu go to Tools->Select&Zoom->Snapshot tool
- with the selection cursor select the image you want captured
- after you get the message that the image was copied open MS Powerpoint and in the slide you want to put it press Ctrl+V to paste in the image

you have to extract PDF to JPG..

Best way to do it is to use PDF maker or Acrobat professional..

you can use both to export the pages as pictures..
