Should I take the chance to download Skype on this computer...?

it's a VoIP program to use for talking with other people over the internet, or paying to call others on landlines, personally, if you have AIM, MSN, or YIM, stick to those if your computer is too slow to run a simple VOIP proggie, try cleaning out your computer of all the nasties via Spybot S&D and some form of startup configurator where you can turn off all the programs you installed that turn on at startup.

if you feel brave enough to attempt cleaning it yourself by going to start -> run -> type in "msconfig" -> click on the "startup" tab and clicking off the things you know which are but don't need them at startup.

the only chat program I have on here is Answers...oh wait, no chatting on answer!
