Ive got a windows problem called 'explorer.exe'? |
im using windows xp (genuine) when i open up some of my programs, i get an error report before the program loads telling me that the application has encountered a problem. Ive reinstalled windows, and genuine softwares but the problem seems to keep reoccuring. Is it a windows problem..??? I have bought a new computer (dell) with windows xp. The computer runs smooth and is clean with no viruses. However when i open programs such as Flash, or QuickTime..etc. I get an error message stopping the programs. There is nothing wrong with the programs because it works on any other machine (and programs such as Quicktime are free downloads). It seems to be a Windows fault because it mentions about errors such as 'kernel32' and 'launchapplication.exe'.. I dont have a clue what this is! I have tried reinstalling windows using the installation cd but the same thing happens. (I have rebooted my computer about 20 times now) WHY IS IT DOING THIS?? Explorer.exe is essential to the running of windows! I can't solve your problem because you haven't explained the problem well enough. Sicko you don't accept emails so this is the only way I can get back in touch, email me and I will explain, its not good news though! Report It Yes it's a pain in the rump! I had the same problem too and my little brother went into the computer and plugged something in and no more problem. So it might be a problem with the inside of your comp. Repair Explorer.Exe Explorer.exe is one of very many problems built into Windows that have been around for over a decade. The only sure way to eliminate the problem is to replace Windows with either Linux or a Mac, optionally keeping Windows around on the side for the odd game or two. |
