The sound on my computer is going crazy... help!?

So....
my computer's sound is going crazy.
In other words, there is music, but no voices. Its not just dvds, its also the internet, videos, chatrooms, msn, aim, yahoo, you name it...everything has sound...but NO VOICES AT ALL! I didnt really kill my headphones, they are only like 2 months old, and i always listen to stuff with a low volume(this is not why i cannot hear voices though, because when i put up the volume, still no voices). everything sounds like, when you sing karaoke, no voices, but sound. Its weird and getting on my nerves, I cannot listen to music, or watch the news which i usually do from my computer. It might be the soundcard, but I wish it would not be the soundcard because my family would say i killed it and its all my fault. Please help me.

uhm, i tried the equalizer, its the same, no sound, but the music is clearer LOL

it's gotta be those head phones,try useing your speaker and that way you'll know your head phones are'nt sesative enough to pick up the voices.

umm honestly i have not a clue
if you have an equilizer on your computer you should pry check the settings, try changing them back to default

or buy a new sound card and install it without them finding out
