Does anyone wish they never upgraded from XP to Vista?

I sure as hell do.

My laptop that I upgraded does not boot correctly, and gets the BSOD every time it tries to run, there's no fix to it, and the laptop refuses to load ANY recovery disks.

I never bothered with vista. Just back up your files and reinstall xp. The sooner the better.

Not me, but I hear a lot of people complain about Vista. I work in a call center too.

Nope. I looked at reviews first and decided not to upgrade in the first place. Saved me 200 bucks doing that.

Vista SP1 should be out soon. That will fix most of the problems that vista has (or so we've been told). Just takes patience.

I upgraded to Vista and haven't had any problems. It took some getting used to, but now I prefer it over XP.

i got a new computer with vista and its working great for me. no problems, easier to use, and a lot cooler to use. you just need enough RAM cause most people are stupid when they upgrade they dont have enough RAM for vista to function at its best. id say over 1 gig is best.

Get a Mac.

Sometimes. But Vista came with my laptop. Its so irritating when it asks me to comfirm everything I do & theres so much pointless stuff on it.

It does kinda look better graphic-wise though (in my opinion). And I like that I can mute the sound of individual programs which I dont think I can with XP. And the startup sound is way less irritating.

I thought it was slowing down my laptop (because I've been told Vista needs 512MB RAM to run & thats all my laptop has..) but after I changed my virus program it works fine now so I guess it was that.

I was going to reformat & install XP but I've been told Vista is safer (dont know how).

Yes there are some problems like the sleeping...it goes to sleep and doesn't wake up....but that is easy to fix, just take auto sleep of and it willl not bother you.

Although it does have its problems it looks better and feels new and mordern and more fun and fast and safer not to mention.

The problems that Vista has will soon be sorted out by the Vista Sp1 that is coming out and will be avalible for free (i would hope so).

Xp is just crapy compared to Vista in my view

Using Vista is just like buying a new gadget .. you're going to get loads of errors and conflicts because everything wasn't found during Beta testing.

Wait till it's updated and see if it works any better, but knowing Micro$oft .. the service pack will solve the original errors and create more new ones! lol

although, dare i say there are some features of vista which i like - cant think what they are tho lol
