Excel shortcut keys- can I assign my own?

I use the paste special values like 20 times a day and I want to just be able to do ctrl-z or something. How do i set this up?

Create a macro for the paste special, values.
You can then assign a shortcut keys to macro and also, if you want, you can assign a button for the macro.

You won't be able to assign ctrl+z, because that shortcut key is already taken (it is the shortcut key combo for undo).

In Excell 2007: click the View tab, then click Macro.
In previous versions of excel, click Toos, the Macro.
