Registry cleaner cause problems?

I asked for people to tell me which registry cleaner I should get and someone said this:

best to leave the reg alone, its a myth that things will be faster if its "cleaned" and you can screw a lot of things up, especially on a laptop.

Is this true? I don't know anything about registry cleaning so, who can give me some real feed back on this?

The debate on whether or not you should use a registry cleaner has never been clearly won. I have not had any problems and I use CCleaner. CCleaner is free and can backup changes in case something goes wrong.

i use registry cleaner daily .
it will remove all invalid entries in the registry ..

i didnt find any problem because of that ..

Registry cleaner will clean registry file that doesn't has any relation/dependence with such program application. But, sometimes it can cause error/problem if u don't know with what u're doing.

Better u select registry file that really really u knew it well.

From what i know/gather then reg cleaners the only thing about them is be carefull with them.... If you delete the wrong thing then your systems gone
