How to beware of viruses for limewire?

Limewire is completely unsafe, but after downloading each file you should scan it with your anti-virus before using or opening it. This isn't fool-proof though, there are some smart viruses that can get around that. But that will keep you the safest.

Also stay away from "urgent limewire update" and "hilarious prank call" or anything over 20 sharers, those are normally infected files.

use bittorrent, or microtorrent for download...

I don't know anyone who has successfully accomplished this. EVERYONE i know, including myself, has had to do system restores, etc just to make their comps work again....

and that other guy gave some.. international music thing..

just scan everything you download with a virus scanner.

The file sharing computer is where the infection comes from, not Limewire.
Download and scan the file first
