I have been scanning and updating spybot search and destroy and with SUPERantispyware but it's not found anything, computer been acting fine since i scanned it in safe mode to remove this horrible virus, adwares and spywares. but should i scan it (full scan) tonight just to be on the safe side?
I also use avast! anti-virus, home edition, been updated, resident protection is high

Thanks!

Yep, why not? Might take 15-30 minutes. Well worth it.

always use full scan

yes

yes..use fulls scan

Once a week you should scan your computer if you don't see anything. If you are having problems with it then you should>

You can have it scan in the background while you are working.

We have one of our five machines scan everyday because it seems to be a "crappy junk' magnet.

Yes, I know that a full scan takes more time. Well worth the time as there may be fragments left that only a full scan will fine. Plus I recommend that if any fragments of the viruses or spyware is found that you reboot after you delete. (For sure you will be safe after, unless you happen to go into a webpage where you get a virus or spware agaion).

Please excuse my English, not my primary language.

You really only need to scan once a week or if you suspect infection.

Also beside spybot and superantispyware, do you have a virus protection program like AVG or Norton, or one other others. The two you listed that you use are only for spyware and adware removal not for virus removal. You should have one virus program and as many spyware/adware programs as you want at least 2-4.

It is a good idea to scan your computer regularly, just to make sure you're free of viruses, Trojans, and worms, etc...
Especially if your computer has been running slow lately, but in your case, since it's been acting fine, I'd say it's not necessary, but you can if you want to.

Yes, you should always perform frequent scans, or if possible, schedule your anti-virus to perform daily scans. I use Avira AntiVir, and I have it scheduled to perform a full scan every morning at 3am. That way, it does it while I'm sleeping and doesn't interfere with whatever I'm doing!

I also have my anti-spyware program set up to scan daily - I use Spyware Terminator, an excellent free program.

You should also enable automatic updates of your programs, if possible. An out-of-date anti-virus or anti-spyware is pretty useless after a few days as new viruses and spyware are made and released every day.

Have you got Norton Protection Center?
If not you can buy it, It also comes with Internet security.
It full scans for you about every two days - when you scan it even shows you what virus's you have and you can fix them!
If you don't want to buy that then thats ok.
Just one day a week leave your computer on a full scan - it takes about an hour.
Hope I could help

You should scan on a regular basis, depending on how often you use your computer and if you surf any dangerous web sites. Suggest about once a week. If nothing is found, stretch out the time.
A good on-line scan is:

//www.bitdefender/scan8/

Use Internet Explorer, since it has to install an ActiveX program.

If your protection is high, then that's why it hasn't found anything.

its always good to do a full scan and try to have done at least once to twice a week if you use your computer a whole lot

go 4 it ! it wont hurt to try.

yes but use a full can
