Ever since I got Limewire I've been getting strange pop-ups when I go on the internet?

Does anyone else have this problem? Like when I am not even using Limewire and I try to get online, weird usually chat related pop ups come up. They only come once a day usually the first time i get online.

First of all. Limewire is an illegal downloading programm.
This means it contains TONs of viruses. Get a good anti-virus software, or get trail versions. scan your computer for viruses and delete them immediately.

After deleting the viruses, uninstall Limewire and never use it again. That might prevent viruses from having an easy access to your computer.

Scan for spyware, and viruses. This is the reason, I do not use Limewire anymore.

get rid of limewire and d/l frostwire.

Limewire is infamous for opening the doors wide to viruses and assorted other forms of malware. Get rid of it, scan for viruses and spyware, and keep a sharp eye out for any other odd little things that might happen.

It is funny, but respectable people that actualy PAY for their music, software and movies instead of stealing them, well they seldom have a malware problem.

It's called karma. You used Limewire to steal music, movies or software. Now someone has infected your machine and may be using it to send spam, steal your identity or access your bank account info.
