Password help!!!?

can i password protect a picture on the pc so that no one but the person knowing the password can open it?

I don't think you can password protect a single picture file in Windows but you could password protect your user account and select to not share your pictures folder.

Probably the easiest and most effective method would be to encrypt the file or the folder the file is in. Check out the TruCrypt page. TruCrypt is relatively straight forward and easy to use. Just be sure to read all the instructions. And make SURE you do not forget your password to access your encrypted files.

And with TruCrypt you can make an encrypted file inside an encrypted file! That way if anyone should torture you by pulling out your armpit hairs one by one in order to get your password they STILL won't be able to see your super secret file! Cool.

just make it hidden or encrypt it
