My son got a laptop for x-mas but his older brother hacks into it with the F8 trick to bypass the windows password. Is there a way to put a password in the bios? Will that lock the pc from someone that doesn't know the password? any useful DUMMY instructions?? U can trick the "f8 trick' email me and I show U how to do that. this way U son can't use the f8 trick anymore. yes f8 starts computer in safe mode . take the batteriess and power cord and hide some where . Or come on mom smack him on the *** and ground him You need to set a password to the bios and admin account. Yes you can simple, enter the set up and do this. there is only one method.. first tell your elder son not to do it..If he does not hear you lock him up in the bath room..thats the only thing that you can do..If this is not working go to the terrace and drop the laptop from there..The problem is over rite Well in the cmos you can put a password into it and that will lock him out of it make sure you use a capital and then a lower case it will make it harder to hack |
