How do i obtain the complete list of all 65535 ports?i checker into wikipedia ,but the list is not complete.? |
please advise.thanks Here is a site, with as many port explanations as were possible. Many are skipped because they arent used by any one program. 65535 is the port number, there are no subdivisions of port numbers. Not all ports are the standard port for a service. the complete list is this: of those 65000+ ports only a portion are actually used by default and are known as well known ports, such as port 80 for http traffic, 21 for ftp, 3389 for remote desktop. Some other programs use specific port numbers but most of those ports are just there in case you need to use them. |
