Why do almost all toolbars have trojans?

I mean, when u download them, they're clean, but as soon as u try to install them, trojans will appear. I don't get why do they do it.

The toolbars are not in fact "clean" when you download them.
A trojan is a malicious program inside of a potentially useful program.

Security scanners are setup to detect "signatures" of "known malware"... so if the program code has changed on the inner malicious program then the security scanner will not catch it until enough have been reported and the newest signatures can be released... which is why it is important to have a reliable suite from a reliable vendor that is properly configured anc kept competely and vigilantly up to date.

I would suggest you upgrade your suite and curtail your need to download everything that is free.

Good Luck

you dont need toolbars so dont download any more.

Have not run into that when gotten from a reliable source. They start adding "content" to enhance your computing experience and try to increase advertising revenue. To me it is a true scam for people that thing they need the latest and greatest that is not any better than what is current. With the standard toolbars properly configured, there is no reason to add any.

When downloading programs try to avoid download them all together. If your having trouble with Trojans and you are not using very good virus protection, i advise downloading Adaware at download.com this is a great Free virus scan removal program.

b'cuz u dont slip it on right or correctly! XD

Virus writers are smart, and they will install viruses in places where you may least expect, or they are hidden very well in a compressed file, or rootkit installation.

You don't say what platform that you are using. If you have Windows platform, you should download the IE7 toolbar from Yahoo. As it is part of Microsoft/Yahoo and is 100% clean.

Otherwise you really don't want any tool bars. Plus you must read all installation with great care. If you don't you will miss the box where you can check off "no toolbar". A lot of software include tool bars that viruses in them and people are not paying attention, and allow the total installation.

This can be prevented by reading the EULA, and watching the installion to check off what you don't want installed in your system.
