Computer infected with Win32/Zquest.E, win32/Vundo.PQ and Win32/Darksma.HQ? |
how do i get rid of them? i ran a virus scan, and nothing showed up. these threats are not viruses, that's why antivirus scan can't pick them up. Win32/Zquest.E, win32/Vundo.PQ and Win32/Darksma.HQ are malwares. i bet you don't wanna hear all the technical stuff, but here's a brief: virus is a type of computer infection that is the most dangerous for computer, viruses can be removed with anti virus. some anti virus programs also detect and remove worms and trojans. but spyware/adware/trojans/etc are different from viruses as they don't target computer, they target information stored on machine and money. antiviruses don't deal with these as they are different from viruses. that's why both anti virus and anti spyware programs are needed to keep a computer safe. i'm glad i could help! good luck! Report It Download (Free) SuperAntiSpyware (SAS) http://www.superantispyware.com/ Go to Pc hell.com it has a lot of info. on virus removal. |
