Trojan Horse virus...? |
Does Norton effectively remove the Trojan Horse virus? go to downloads.com and search spybot and when the results come up go past the sponsor things and click the first one and download it, once its down loaded you need to run the check for problems once a week and run the immunize once a month and run updates once a week A full system scan should pick up any virus and quarantine them, and then remove them. I have Norton and have never had any problems with them not removing any virus that has found it's way onto my computer. I personally don't like Norton anti virus and i seen tons of negative reviews. Norton is a bloated resource hog. I have seen it find viruses and have a hard time quarantining viruses. AVG Anti virus and McAfee virus scan are supposed to help a lot.check out http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-sAFtLsc8e... for more details. A Trojan Horse is Spyware. You need to run your spyware program, if you don't have one here is a link for you to download. (http://www.superantispyware.com) This is good and others here recomend it also , OH, and its FREE. After you download do a scan right away. Good Luck Don't trust anyone that blahblahblah is better or blahblahblah is better. All antivirus software have the same capability. You just have to check for updates often to make sure your computer is equipped with the information about latest viruses. You should also have a antispyware software to protect your computer. I recommend Lavasoft ad-aware or Spybot. |
