Lots of emails regarding "winning the lottery" how do i prevent these? |
i keep getting millions of emails aout winning an email lottery etc which are all, of course, BULL so how do i revent getting them! hotmail does regularly get it right and put it in junk email but is there a better way? You can never eliminate 100% of the spam but you may be able to minimize the number you get. Below are some hints: Block the e-mail address, by using your filter settings, just add the address to you blocked list. I replied giving my ex boyfriends details...unfaithful shitbag. Mark them as spam Just block the e-mail address and report as SPAM. I get these kinds of e-mails myself and I just don't pay attention to them. If you know it's too good to be true then more than likely it is a bunch of BS. Unfortunately hotmail is pretty limited as far as what you can do. They dont allow filtering based on email subject. 1. select the sender's e-mail address and press ctrl+c |
