Is there any way I can delete a virus, that Norton hasn't picked up,?

I have done a pc health check, spybot, onecare and nothing is working...

Reboot in safe mode (hit F8 on start up)
Run scan as normal.
Restart.

I had to do this a few days ago, it worked a treat.

most likely you gotta reformat your hard drive. sorry.

boot into safe mode (hit F8 at boot) and then run antivirus..

do a quick online anti virus scan

What is the virus called because there will be some tool out there that will remove it for you

if you know where is the virus located, you can delete it manually. I have experience with finding and destroying viruses manually without any anti-virus. So I won't suggest you to reformat the drive if you can't find the virus. Take it to technician.

Do what megasparks0101 said , its very easy to do .
Just last week i got a virus that kept disabling me from doin anything with my computer , it kept closeing my explorer and wouldn't even let me run my anti-virus
I never even knew what safe mode looked like so i was nervous running my pc in safemode but once i did i found it to be very easy , just ran my anti virus and it picked up the virus , deleted it the i ran my computer normally and it was good as new :D

Good luck !!

Yes. The downside is that you have to look at the registration windows.

First locate the executable file name associated virus
After a control panel, adding and removing programs, look for the filename and removed.

Now running, type regedit and look at the record of all the windows and remove those chains associated files.

If the files are in ejecisi贸n and not remove leaves. Have to do it from a window dos.

Be careful in changing the registration of the team, if he does badly it is possible that after not serve well the windows.

The complex is found associated with the executable viruses.

If you know it is a virus and Norton has no antivirus to kill it,
call Norton - they will get it covered ASAP. My Organization
has done this several times. Another possible solution is
to use another antivirus (free trial) such as Trend Micro
which downloads from their site.

What did I tell you about online porn mrs. shady LOL

sorry no help as usual... I pride myself on being extremely unhelpful :) Hey it's a goal right!!!

good luck with it though!

Hello Kev. fancy meeting you here :)

As the others have said try it in Safe Mode.
Switch off the computer, then switch it back on. Keep pressing the F8 key as soon as you switch it back on and you should see a menu. Use the arrow keys to choose Safe Mode. Then when it starts up, run a full system scan.
I know it's a pain in the @rse, but hopefully that should sort it for you.

Edit: Hello Snizz!

AVG Anti virus and McAfee virus scan are supposed to help a lot.check out http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-sAFtLsc8e... for more details.
