Depends on how the computer is configured, and what browser you are using. Normally Internet Explorer will put them in a folder called "Temporary Internet Files". The exact location of that files depends on whether you told the computer to give each user their own set of files or to share one set when you created their user id.

Do a search (Start button > search) for All Files and Folders > Temporary Internet Files and you should be able to find the folder(s) with the cookies.

* In the Temporary internet files folder (on Windows 98/ME this is c:\windows\temporary internet files; in Windows XP/2000 c:\documents and settings\jdoe\local settings\temporary internet files, on Windows Vista C:\Users\jdoe\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Wi... Internet Files (assuming your username is jdoe).
* In the Cookies folder (on Windows 98/ME this is c:\windows\cookies; on Windows XP/2000 c:\documents and settings\jdoe\cookies, on Windows Vista C:\Users\jdoe\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\... and C:\Users\jdoe\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\...

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

sub administrator for your local user acct

C:\Windows\Temp

download and run ccleaner to view cookies or delete cookies from the computer.

if you are using windows xp and you don't have another operating systems then cookies are stored inside C:\Documents and Settings\account_name\Cookies where "account_name" means the user account through which you log in to the windows. If you have dual operating systems for example windows 98 and windows xp then windows xp may be in D:\ drive instead of C:\drive so now the location will be D:\Documents and Settings\account_name\Cookies
