How to delete?

I have a web page that continuously pops up. Yes it is, and no I havent. if you get my drift. Can anyone tell me how to stop this as my grandchildren occasionally use my Computer

If you are using Windows internet explorer then your best bet is to do the following.

Open Windows internet explorer, click on tools, internet options then hit the privacy tab.

Ones there hit the sites button, there you can add this site to the list and hit block it should be able to block it.

If you still have this problem go back to the privacy tab and hit settings, there you can change your filter settings to high!

If you are still after doing that getting those pop ups I suggest you switch web browsers to something like Firefox or Opera, these reduce the amount of pop up considerably.

I use firefox all the time and I never get pop ups anymore!

Download Firefox Internet Browser - it's far more helpful at combating pop-ups.

I've had the same issue. Simply run a virus scanner that will search for ADWARE.

The site has probably 'self-installed' adware onto your computer. It should be easily erased.

try deleting the cookie or caches.
This normally will take care of the problem

If you have XP go up under tools and clear private data.

you probably got spyware / adware problem

use norton 360 - separates the men from the boys

Go to your toolbar on your web browser, click on tools, then internet options, Click delete cookies, then click on Delete files... A pop up will appear asking you if you want to delete offline files also. checkmark the box. Then move to clear history.

Then you should be good to go.

Delete your existing desktop and create a new one. Don't forget to save your files in "Shared Documents".

id get a different virus scanner and scan and if it keeps popping up id reformate but id you dont want to reformate then id get a internet scanner.

Scan the hard drive for junk such as adware or viruses.
